Question
I have a question for you regarding toning up. I have an extremely petite frame standing 5'5 and 119 pounds. I would really like to tone up a little but I have a problem. I lift weights for a week (about every other day,) and my arms bulk up instantly. I do a couple sets of situps and my stomach looks hard and bloated. What am I doing wrong, and is there anything that I can do to not look so bulky on my small frame?

Answer
Hi,

Kind of hard to tell you what you're doing wrong because I can't see you, and I don't know how much you're lifting or what exercises you're doing and how you are doing them.  Best off getting a qualified personal trainer for a session or two to set you up on an appropriate program so that you achieve your goals.  It's worth it.

Glad you're motivated to work out!
