Question Hi Mr. Alan,
I am anticipating purchasing a motorized treadmill to use when the weather is bad or when conditions limit my walking outside.
I would like to stay in the $400.00 to $600.00 price range. Can I get a fairly reliable one in this price range at Wal-Mart or any other stores? If not, where should I look? Are used ones in the classifieds usually a good buy?
Also, are there any things such as types of motors or other technical things which I should be wary of when purchasing one? Thank you very much!
Sincerely,
Mike Eidson, Lac.
Answer Hey Mike,
You can get a treadmill in that price range. Whether it will be fairly reliable or not is questionable. Seems like the high priced ones are much more reliable simply because they are built with much better components. If 400 - 600 is your price range, go for it and hope you get one that meets your needs. Walking on a treadmill also doesn't cause as much wear and tear and running on one.
