Question Hi! I'm interested in yoga and pilates but dont know how to incorporate them along with my weights and some aerobics. I am not certain of when to do the exercises are if I should do all of them each day. Should I concentrate on one type of exercise each day? Should I be working out everyday or just 5 days a work? I dont have much time. The only free time I have is at night and maybe a litte bit in the morning. Please help.
Answer Hi Dina,
Good question. Glad you're interested in yoga and Pilates. I would need to know a lot more about your weights workouts and cardio workouts before giving any suggestions. There's a lot of different exercises in both yoga and Pilates, so to say which ones to do or not do can't be of value unless I know what you're currently doing, what you've done previously, and if you have any specific fitness goals.
Get together with a qualified personal trainer in your area if you're serious about this. It's worth the investment to get you going along the right track balancing your various fitness workouts. Check with ideafit.com or acefitness.org to locate some personal trainers in your area.
