what is the importance of aerobic conditioning to athletes and non- athletes?

Hi Jordan,
Aerobic fitness is good for everyone because it strengthens the heart and lungs.  If the heart is conditioned it can beat slower and pump the blood through the body more effectively.  The lungs will also be stronger and be at less risk to illness/disease.
