Question
Hello!
I was wondering if you could give me some ideas of what exercises would work best for me. I am 40 years old and don't have any medical problems. I have a very sensible diet. I am 5'2" and weigh about 125. My main problem areas are my upper arms and waist (sides, not abdomen). To make the whole thing more challenging, I am very limited on time. I am up at 4:30 and get to bed about 10:00 to 10:30, pretty much non-stop the whole day! I do not really have the option of joining a gym. Would something like jogging be a good idea? But, would it actually help my problem areas? Any ideas you might have for me would be extremely helpful!
Thanks!!!

Answer
To lose fat in those areas jogging would be good.  It will burn fat from all over your body which would eventually get to those upper arms and sides.
The other question I have is what the heck are you doing from 4:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m.?  Your schedule is worse than mine.  Take some time out of your day for a jog or an intense walk (during lunch).  Try to get in at least 45-60 minutes 5 days a week.  Walking fast with those arms pumping will work your sides.
Good luck!
