Aerobics/fat loss

Question
Hi! I'm 38, 5'6",152lbs, male; and I have been trying to loose my flabby gut for a long time. I lift weights regularly and jog 3-5 times a week between 30 to 40 min. I'm a very hard muscle gainer and my fat doesn't go away. I even have "boobies". Could you recommend a training program?
Also, currently I jog/bicycle in the mornings and lift at lunchtime. I'm thinking about including a  run/jog in the afternoons as well since loosing bodyfat is my main goal. Would that be advisable? TIA.

Answer
***Suggestions made here may or may not help you in your specific situation.  Please consult with your physician when changing or adding an exercise/nutrition regimen***

I strongly suggest if you haven't already, to talk with your doctor to make sure you don't have any medical problems.  You may have imbalanced hormone issues that would make it difficult for you to lose adipose tissue (fat) in certain areas of your body, if at all.  You want to rule out anything that may affect your desired outcome of your body if your were to augment your exercise and eating patterns.

You may also want to consult thereafter with a nutritionist to make sure that your nutritional intake is appropriate for your condition and/or weight loss.

Does this make sense?  I don't want to recommend to you a routine that won't do you any good if you have underlying medical concerns.  Right??

Feel free to write back at a later date and time if you choose to address these issues with a physician.  I could perhaps assess your situation better.

Take care of yourself. Sincerely, Daphne
