Aerobics/gazelle equipment

Question
I am trying to figure out if a reasonably fit person can get a good workout using a Tony Little Gazelle.  The reviews that are out there all seem like they are written by the company and not real people.  The few that sound like real people seem to think the equipment does not do anything.

Answer
\****suggestions offered here may or may not help you in your particular situation.  Please consult with your physician when changing or adding to an exercise/nutrition regimen***

I am not a fan of "as seen on TV" infomercial exercise equipment.  I've been in one and I have friends (some of whom don't really exercise, they are models and actors) who have been in infomercials.  I have a friend who produces informercials for fitness and health products and we often laugh about some of the stuff that's out there to =buy.bv b  From an unpaid, unbiased exercise professional viewpoint my suggestion to you is to try it out before you by it.

I could tell you how effective or ineffective a machine is.  But the bottom line is do you like the equipment enough to USE IT 4-5x a week 15-60 minutes at a time?  Do you enjoy the movement?  Is is SAFE?  Do you joints hurt when you execute the movements?  Do you feel like you are getting an effective workout?  Are you doing everything else to help you meet your fitness goals (eating right, crosstraining with other aerobic activity and weight training). Do you follow me?

Congratulations on pursuing a healthy lifestyle!!  The key is to get a routine and STICK WITH IT!!!!!  That's regardless of what machine you use.  OK.  I strongly advocate the Treadmill, stationary bike, and the elliptical movement machines over anything else.  I have never used a Tony Little machine and I don't think I ever will.  But that's just my opinion.  You should test any machine before you buy it.

Good Luck!!!!!
Sincerely, Daphne
