Question
Hi

Ý am 5ft02inch and normally 49kilos but i do put on alot of weigth in pregnancy.

My first pregnancy i put on 16 kilos and lost it all afterwards through breastfeeding and aerobics classes 3 times a week.

Ý love being toned and fit but as i am on my second pregnancy people have told me it is harder to loose the weight after the second pregnancy and that your tummy muscles become father apart.

Ýs this true and do you have any advise about keeping fit after the birth.

Many thanks
Lisa

Answer
It's true for some women.  It's not true for other women.  Maintain a (moderate) exercise program as tolerated.  Eat well.  Don't worry about your body tone post-pregnancy until post-pregnancy.   You'll get it back together if you're determined and do the right program for you.  Just give yourself a generous time frame to get it back together.  Won't necessarily happen in two weeks.  Now, you should just enjoy being a mom the second time around.

Best wishes.
