Hi,

What do push ups do? What parts of the body do they
strengthen? Do they help in making your abs flatter?

Hi Rebecca,

Push-ups strengthen chest, shoudlers and triceps.  If you keep your back from arching, your abdominals muscles are working too.  Will it flatten them?  Probably not.  You have to do much more concentrated work on the abdominal muscles to achieve a flatter appearance.
