Question
Hi!  I do 30 minutes of training on an elliptical.  How long should it take me to get my breath back after I'm done?  I've been working out on it since January.  I am not overweight.

Answer
Good question.  It depends on how intensely you trained during the 30 minutes.  If you went easy, it won't take long.  If you went hard, it will take longer.  What counts is over time, do you seem to get your breath back faster than when you first began? If you do, that's a good thing.  It means you're getting more fit.  If it still takes as long as a year ago for example, it means your training program needs tweeking to get you better results.

Hope this helps.
