Question
Hi,
I am indian(Indian/Pakistani cubcontinent)in race, and live in a cosmopolitan city.
I started off with some martial arts and aerobics at the age of 9 and left at the age of 16. I would like to know

a) if there are any specific daily exercises that should enable me to recover with my flexibility.
b) Is it possible to gain complete side and front splits at my present age? (22).

Answer
Hello Muhammad,
You can always recover your flexibility but it will take time and patience.  I recommend that you find some yoga classes that will help you with flexibility and strength.  There are many yoga specific clubs that you can pay by the class.  Pilates is also a great way to get into shape and lengthen and work on your core muscles.  If you could do splits before, you may be able to do them again.
Good luck!
Linda
