Aerobics/walking

Question
If I do a 30 min. walk (5 min. warm up, 5 min. cool down and 20 min. fast pace) how fast do I need to walk to acheive weight loss? How often do I need to do it? Thanks.

Answer
I need to know a lot more information about you to be able to answer this question, like how much do you weigh, age, sex, fitness level, diet, exercise history, other activity and so on.  In general, if you're not losing weight over time, it means you're not walking fast enough or frequently enough to burn up more calories than you are taking in.  The more frequently you do it, the more calories you use up, and that reduces weight.  The faster you walk, the more calories you burn, and that helps reduce weight.

Hope this helps.
