Question Hi, I have been gaining weight for the last few months. I want to lose 12 pounds so I decided to increase my exercise. I go to the gym for 2 hours a day. I'm on the treadmill for 45 minutes, and the crossramp for 45 minutes. Today I read the scale and I've gained two pounds. It's been three days and during those three days, Ive been increaseing my calories instead of decreasing them. I know I'llneed to decrease them to lose weight but I find myself super hungry. I ate at least 5000 calories a day! I don't know why but it seems the exercise made me super hungry and water and vegetables don't seem to help though it did in the past.
What can I do to stop my appetite and lose weight. I get on the scale and the weight keeps increasing cos' of my eating.
Answer Good question. Glad you're exercising. But to lose weight, you need to take in less calories than you're burning up, which is of course why you are not losing weight, but gaining. I know nothing about you so there is no way I can determine what you should do to get your appetite in check.
I'd recommend you get together with a registered dietician in your area. If you're serious about making changes and getting results, it's worth it. They can set you up on a program that will help you achieve your goals.
