Question
For my 12th grade physics class I have to pick a career and write the ways they use physics. I was wondering how aeronautical engineers use physics?

Answer
Aeronautical engineers use aerodynamics, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, gas dynamics, etc. to solve technical problems related to flight and propulsion.  All those subjects are branches of physics.  So, almost everything aero engineers do such as the design and development of aircraft involves physics.
