Question
I am currently doing B.Tech in Information Technology and would like to do M.S in Aeronautical Engineering. I want to know about the job working conditions, whether it would be office work or would be field work? Also, what kind of pay package will this combination, if recommended, led to?

Answer
Niharika
I am unsure which country you are asking about.  If it is the U.S., aero engineering is mostly office work with some time in the lab, wind tunnel, field testing, or whatever depending on the job assignment.  Salary depends on many factors such as your academic record, work experience, job location, type of job, geographic location, current economy, etc.; but I assume you could get around $60,000 to $70,000 to start.  Check the Boeing website for job examples.  (Note that citizenship is often required.)

Thanks.
