Question
I am currently pursuing Instrumentation engineering as my bachelors degree. I am interested in taking up aeronautics as an MS course. Is it possible???..If so, can you please suggest me the best universities in US that offer this course??

Answer
Tejas
To switch from instrumentation engineering to aero engineering would probably take some extra course work in fluid mechanics, strength of materials, dynamics, etc. that you likely have not had.  Graduate schools in aeronautics prefer students who studied mechanical engineering or aeronautical engineering.  But talk to them, maybe they can work out a program for you that will fill in any gaps that exist.

The top aero engineering schools are listed here:

A more extensive list of engineering schools is here:

Many of those offer aero engineering.

Good luck.
