Question
I am a high school student doing a research project on aeronautical engineering. I am having trouble finding general info on aeronautical engineering. I was wondering what are some job prospects for an aeronautical engineer and what are some high school courses that an aspiring aeronaut. engineer should take. Thanks for your time.

Answer

Future engineering students would be wise to take all the math and science courses they can get (especially physics).  I wouldn't worry about job prospects yet, instead think about what you would like to do with your life.  Designing airplanes and/or increasing the technology of the country through aeronautics was a great option for me - it might be for you also.

p.s.  Good engineers can always find a job.  The country runs on technolgy, and most people would have trouble telling a led from a laser.
