Question
Is mechanical engineering better or aeronautical engineering and whose scope and salary is better after the bachelors .

Answer
I did a google search on engineering salaries and found this:

Aerospace Engineers (U.S.)  58,200 jobs in 2008
50% of the population earned $61,180 - 94,340 per year

Mechanical Engineers (U.S.)  253,800 in 2008
50% of population earned $54,790 - $89,700 per year

So you see that Aerospace Engineers earn somewhat more but the job opportunities are much fewer.  In addition, many aerospace jobs require a security clearance that is easy for U.S. citizens to obtain, difficult for others.  (Check the Boeing website for job requirements.)

I suggest that the most important thing is to choose the profession that is of most interest to you.  You will be working it all your life.
