Question
hi paul!

i am currently taking up aeronautical engineering however i am not yet in my majors. i am just curious in what field in aeronautics suits me. just some info about me:

1. i definitely love to draw as i think best when doodling or sketching (i can confidently say i'm good at drawing/painting  but please don't mistake for an interest in fine arts)

2. i do love to compute and my favorite subjects are physics, geometry (which has a lot of sketching), trigonometry, and advanced logic (which is also sort of similar to algebra)

3. i work best alone

4. i enjoy nat geo's "air crash investigation" and am drawn towards the investigation job.

... they say it's more of a structural analyst's job but then i'm not sure yet as i have told you before, i haven't taken any majors yet. i would like to build my "stats" based on my interests while still in college so i'll be ready on the field.

please do inform me when this question has been answered :) thanks a lot!

Answer
This is a difficult question because the best person to answer is you.  My advice would be to take a great variety of subjects so that when it comes time to find a job you will be prepared for anything.  That said, you can't go wrong with emphasis on design and aerodynamics based on your items 1 and 4.
