Question hi paul
i am currently about to complete my bachelors in aeronautical engg. from india ... and i'm looking forward to do masters in u.s.a or u.k but i'm a little confused about it ... im not sure whether i am eligible to do masters in aerospace or astronautical engg. or i should gor for masters in aeronautical engg. which masters is more benefitial for me and does my doing masters will fetch me a reputed job in these countries?
Answer Rachit
I never heard of astronautical engineering. Aerospace and aeronautical engineering are basically the same thing. Technically, aerospace engineering includes air and space flight and aeronautical engineering involves flight in air. But 95% of the course work in each field involves technology related to earth and atmosphere, so you should feel happy studying either type of engineering. It is really only a matter of semantics.
As to jobs - there are no guarantees in this life. Who knows what the future economy will be like.
