Question
what are the duties of aeronualtical scientist?
and does it take to become one?

Answer
I'm not sure what an aeronautical scientist is, but an aeronautical engineer is qualified to work on a variety of technology development jobs such as aircraft design, aircraft testing, propulsion system design, automotive drag reduction, aerodynamic noise reduction, fluid mechanic device development, bio-engineering, wind turbines, computational fluid dynamics, and much more.  To become an engineer, one must attend a certified engineering school and study for 4 or 5 years in order to obtain a Bachelor of Science degree.
