QuestionQUESTION: Hello sir, Can a Aircraft maintainance Engineer join Aeronautical Engineering Course at Masters level? If yes, which Universities provides such education especially in US & Europe. & What Kind of course is (Flight vehicle desing & Engineering) and (Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering)? Is it just another name for aeronautical engineering?
ANSWER: I don't know if Aircraft Maintenance Engineering is adequate preparation for graduate work in Aeronautical Engineering. It depends on what subjects you studied. And each school has different requirements. Do a google search on engineering schools, visit school websites, and review admission requirements for international students. There are many schools in the U.S. that offer aero (e.g., U. of Washington - Seattle). You may have to contact the chairman of the department of your choice to get the final answer on your admission.
Flight Vehicle Design and Engineering and Aircraft Manufacturing Engineering are not the same subjects as Aeronautical Engineering. The former deal with design and manufacture, the later gets into physics of fluid flow and aerodynamics.

QUESTION: Sir, i am a High school graduate. so, i am really confused about my further studies. I want to join aeronautical or aerospace engineering but only at masters level. So, will i be eligible for that if i do Bachelor at Mechanical Engineering or Aircraft manufacturing Engineering.
What is the possibilities of further studies for Aircraft Maintainance Engineer or will AME's career stop right there?
AnswerA bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering should qualify you for graduate work in Aeronautical Engineering. As I said before, I am not sure about the other majors you mention. Nor do I know about the possibilities for Aircraft Maintenance Engineering. It may be good; it is just outside my experience. Talk to someone in that field.
