Question
Hi Paul. I am researching for my university on how to make further improvements to the AW119Ke helicopter. The improvements I am interested in are performance, sustainability and reliability. Are you able to point me into a suitable direction so I can get started?

Answer
I doubt I can think of anything that the designers have not already considered.  But one thing does come to mind:  a non-tail rotor for torque control.  Some kind of blowing system akin to the NOTAR from McDonnell Douglas ?  Standard tail rotors are notoriously vulnerable to damage and fatigue.
