Aeronautical Engineering/Aeronautical students

Question
Hi,
Please could you advise the best way to reach aeronautical students in the USA. In addition to an annual UK competition, Merlin Flight Simulation Group now run a US (this year's was in Dayton, Ohio)competition on aircraft design. Top prize money and a change to have designs flown by a pro test pilot in the unique Merlin simulator. I would like to spread the word, and encourage students to enter. Any help would be much appreciated.

Answer
Hi Emma - I am somewhat at loss as to how to answer.  My first thought was to recommend doing a google search on engineering schools and contact the departments, but that is a lot of schools and a lot of communication.  Another thought is that the AIAA may have student programs and contact lists. Perhaps even better would be to ask the other expert on this site, Dr Janus, who is a university professor and no doubt much more in tune with your question.

Thanks.
