Question
Which is better Aerospace eng/Aeronautical eng/aircraft maintainance eng [AME] ?

Answer
Better in what sense ?  It depends on what you want to do as a career.  Aerospace and Aeronautical Engineering are basically the same thing.  They involve the design, research, development, and testing of aerospace products like aircraft, launch vehicles, automobiles, etc. Technically, Aerospace Engineering study should include some courses on space subjects like orbital mechanics or launch vehicle physics, but possibility 98% of the program involves flight in air and related subjects, which is what Aeronautical Engineers work on.  AME, as the name suggests, involves maintenance and repair of aircraft.  I'm not an expert on this, but I believe studies in that field are often done in technical schools, not necessarily accredited engineering schools. Although AME study can lead to a good career, a degree from an engineering school would probably give you more options for career choices and advancement. Good luck.

Thanks.
