Question Hi Paul,
I'm a junior at the University of Minnesota studying Aerospace eng. My question is where do you suggest I look for jobs, granted I'm avoiding military/govrenment work. I mean with the current export control and ITAR it's difficult for a non U.S citizen to get into the aerospace field. I'm mostly into aeronautics. Is there any possibility for me to work in this field ?
Answer Karim
You are right - aerospace jobs are often slanted toward U.S. citizens for clearance reasons. But aerospace companies such as Boeing do have some non-classified positions. Check websites and job openings. Or you could focus on non-aerospace companies such as in the automobile industry. They use aero engineers for drag and noise reduction of their products. Finally, there may be positions in niche markets such as fluid mechanic device development or CFD code development. Good luck.

Aeronautics, Fluid Mechanics, Aeroacoustics, Noise Control, Muffler Design, Wind Tunnel Research.... I know nothing about India - do not ask about schools, jobs, application requirements, career choices, etc. for India. Please, no text message verbiage; I prefer full words in full sentences. Thanks.
