Question
hello sir,i am a student and i have just graduated so if you could tell me the differences between aircraft engineering and aeronautical engineering, it would help me a lot. actually i live in Bahrain and here i hear more about aircraft engineering so i wanted to know more about it.i also wanted to know that which subjects are required for being eligible to study aircraft or aeronautical engineering because in my high school i have studied Physics, chemistry and biology(instead of maths). but during my matriculation i have also studied maths. so please if you could help me in this matter.
thank you

Answer
I have never heard the term aircraft engineering, so I can't help you exactly. It sounds like a subject dealing solely with aircraft whereas aeronautical engineering deals with the aerodynamics of all things in flight or motion in air such as aircraft, missiles, automobiles, birds, etc.  As to school subject areas, math and science, especially physics, are necessary to prepare for engineering studies of any kind.
