Question
Hello Mr. Soderman,
It is Ryan again. I am still doing my project and I have another question. Are there any job openings in the field of aeronautical engineering? Or is there any vacancy in this field field at all?

Thank you for your help.
Ryan

Answer
Hi Ryan
I don't keep track of job openings any more, but when I visit the Boeing website I see that there are numerous jobs available for various types of engineering specialists.  I saw one opening for an aeronautical engineer needed in Everett WA, but I am sure there are more around the country.  And that is only one company.  I think there will always be a demand for aero engineers as long as we still build aircraft and cars in this country.  Besides, the population of aero engineering students is small compared to other disciplines.
