Question
Sir

I wanted to know what are disadvantages of using flaperons in an aircraft?

Answer
Two things come to mind. One is that flaperons combine the role of aileron and flap into one control system that might be more complex than the simple controls of flaps and ailerons. The second problem might be that a separate aileron and separate flap may perform better than one device that tries to do both functions. But really, these concerns depend on the particular design details. So I really can't say that flaperons are inferior. They may be the best solution for a particular aircraft and mission.
