Question
what mean by thrust agumentation? its types &application

Answer
Thrust augmentation refers to methods of increasing the normal thrust of a device such as a jet engine. There are several ways to do this: one is to add water or similar fluid to the flow to increase mass, another is to use an afterburner that adds a second burn to the process, and another is to drive the jet through an ejector that entrains secondary flow. All these and other techniques augment thrust at the expense of added weight.
