Question
Sir,

My name is Jojo Joy. I'm from India. I completed my bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering. I like to do my post graduation in Aeronautical engineering. Can you say me the opportunities of this field. After having a MS in Aeronautical engineering what type of job may I get. Please inform me about some good universities also.

Answer
Hi Jojo

Firstly, it's quite possible for you to get a job in the aircraft industry with a Mechanical Engineering degree. However, gaining an Aerospace Masters degree will of course make you more employable.

There are about ten Universities in the UK that offer Aero Masters programmes, including my own, the University of Hertfordshire. In particular, Bristol University and the University of Western England work together in a group called the West of England Consortium, and their Masters is a modular one, and is highly regarded. To get information on any of these, I suggest you visit their websites. If you want more information on Hertfordshire's programme, use the link below. Sorry, I can't offer any advice on Universities outside the UK, as I don't know enough about them.

I hope this helps.

Regards

Ray
