You ask a difficult question because a career path is a very personal venture.  I can only say that I have been very happy with my choice of aeronautical engineering.  It has provided me with a challenging job at NASA that has been very rewarding.  I enjoying testing and studying aircraft models; aeronautics is a fast changing field.  I work with very smart people in advanced laboratories, with the latest computers and equipment, etc.  The income has provided my family with a good life.  That said, I am sure there are many satisfying careers in all engineering fields.  In fact, there are many more companies needing mechanical or electrical or civil engineers than aeronautical.  The way to choose a field is to find out what engineers do, and decide if that work interests you.

I'm sorry but I know little of aeronautical schools or companies in India or Australia.  I suspect that studying in Australia would provide you with many opportunities to further your career.

Thanks.
