Expert: Rajeevlochanam B A - 10/17/2007
QuestionRespected Sir,
My name is Kapil and I am
writing this email from Faridabad situated in the
state of Haryana, India. I have done Bachelor’s of
Engineering (B.E) which in 4 years full time regular
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering course in the field
of Information Technology from an Indian University.
However, due to deep interest and career prospective
in the field of Aerospace Engineering, I have decided
to do Master’s of Science (M.S) in the field
Aerospace Engineering.
I know that Aerospace requires good knowledge of
Mathematics and Physics. For this I would like to tell
you that apart of my core subjects, I have studied
both Engineering Mathematics and Engineering Physics
that have covered important topics like:
In Engineering Mathematics: Differential and Integral
Calculus, Fourier and Laplace Transforms, Fourier
Series, Differential Equations, Partial Differential
Equations, Complex Variables, Computational Techniques
etc.
In Engineering Physics: Heat ,Optics,Quantam Physics
etc.
Apart from this I have done Machine Drawing (for two
semesters), studied subjects like Digital and Analog
electronics and Communication Engineering.
I am going to give GRE Exam.
Is I am eligible to do M.S in Aerospace Engineering
?If yes, let me know the procedure . If not, then let
me know what should I do to eligible myself for
Master’s in Aerospace Engineering with procedure.
Thank you for your time for reading this email. I hope
you would reply me as soon as possible.
Bye, and have a great time!!!!………

Answerhi,
Changing core areas requires interest as well as hard work; I think this is possible but very difficult; The only way out is to do well in entrance tests like GRE, GATE or AEEE and score high grades, and convince the interviewers about ur resolve for change of subject
