Answer
Hi Raul

1)  An engineering degree takes 4 or 5 years to obtain (5 is more common). An MS graduate degree can usually be obtained in one more year.

2)  It all depends on where you work and what your job is.  I traveled about four or five times a year.  Other engineers might be involved in a project that requires traveling weekly.

3)  Before what ?

4)  I worked for NASA, which provided very nice benefits:  co-payment of health insurance, good retirement annuity, optional life insurance, a savings plan, and 2 to 5 weeks vacation (5 weeks after 10 years service).

5)  Industry or the government, usually.

6)  Everything from self-motivated engineering work to management.
