Question
Hi Paul:

I would like to enrich my knowledge in  Aeronautics, Aeroacoustics, Noise Control, Muffler design, Fluid Mechanics and Wind tunnel research topics.Im interest in knowing where I can found more Info about this topics. (Web pages are good and books will help too). Also would like to know about your engineering branch. Some tips on how to success in your ex-career would be good.

Thank you!

A good book on aeroacoustics is Aeroacoustic Measurements, Thomas Mueller editor (Springer).  Chapter 1 was written by me and my colleague and covers a lot of aeroacoustic and wind tunnel material as do the other chapters.  The bibliographies in the book are extensive.  A classic acoustics book is Noise and Vibration Control by Beranek.  I forget the name of my fluids book, but there are many in engineering libraries.  As to web pages, try www.grc.nasa.gov/WWW/K-12/airplane/bga.html....or www.ae.su.oz.au/aero/contents.html.....or www.aiaa.org/content.cfm?pageid=2.

As to my engineering branch, we conducted research experiments in various wind tunnels.  Success followed those who were well grounded in basic science and mathematics and had an inquisitive mind necessary for research.  Being able to communicate well in written or verbal settings was a requirement.

Good luck.
