hi,i am a 15yr girl studying in 9th std.i have a keen interest in aeronautics.now,from 9th std, onwards i want to prepare for aeronautics.can u pls tell me how much percentage of marks one should get in 12th board exam?also,i want to know about the medical criteria,as i have myopia(eye defect,can't see the distance objects clearly}.my eye power is -3.Am i fit for getting chance in aeronautics?plz help,it is the question of my carrier.

Sorry Madhurima - I know nothing of your educational system. I do know that you have to get high marks in math and science if you want to be an engineer.  And eye condition is not a factor to success as an aeronautical engineer as long as you can find a way to get the work done.  One of my NASA colleagues is very successful despite being blind.  He does not let his handicap stop him. If you want to be a pilot, that is an entirely different thing - eye sight is very important in that case.
