Answer
Hi Sindhya

I am sorry, but I live in California and know little of schools in India.  But I do know that you should not listen to your friends about what is hard or easy.  Just ask yourself what you really like to study.  If it is math and science, then your should study that and plan on going into engineering later.  I was certainly glad I did, and I always wished more girls had the same idea.  One of the best engineers I ever worked with at NASA was a young woman.

The school to choose is one where you can find the best professors in the field at a reasonable price.

Good luck.
