sir i am studying in 12th std and i have thought of doing aeronautical engineering.. but i dont have much idea about it.so could u plz help me!
plz tel me about the institutes which offer aero.engg in west bengal as well as in india...... also i would like to know the admission procedure . whether i have to go through competative exams for admission or i will get admission in percentage basis... in the institutes ,i would also like to know about the total fees required in this course. and i am getting confused wid the courses being offered by institutes......frankly speaking...is that "i want to be an aero.engg" thats wat i know. and so plz tell me which course to choose and which will b the best institute in bengal where i could get admission in percentage basis.

hi abhinav,

You need 90% + marks in 12th std. maths & science papers, and fee per year is approx. Rs.80,000(vary with colleges)

The following colleges are in WB state;
Indian Institute of Technology Khargpur– (IIT Kharagpur)
Regional Engineering College (REC) Durgapur

admission through :
Indian Institute of Technology - Joint Entrance Examination (JEE)2007

I am not familiar with exact colleges in your state; There may be Several colleges in your state; the entrance is through 12th sts marks and rank in entrance test of West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination 2007 (JEM 2007). plz refer to web site links for more details

for entry to other state engineering colleges, the following entrance tests are to be taken by you,

All India Engineering Entrance Examination 2007,Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) Engineering Entrance Exam, etc...
