Hi and Thanks for listening to this nothing-but-fun question.  My wife and I who are in our 40's, constantly have little fun spats about Kiss vs Aerosmith:  who is better, who sold more records, who has made the most impact, who has the most hits, who has better guitar riffs, numbers of records sold, in general-who is the better band and who is considered in the rock world more successful.  Obviously you are better at Aerosmith stuff, so you are probably biased.  But what would you say is bigger in the rock world, and I know there are many meanings to "who is better or more successful."  Thanks again!!  Gary

I am biased towards Aerosmith but even if I wasn't, I'd still go with Aerosmith. Aerosmith has more albums and has sold more albums than Kiss. Aerosmith has more top ten hits, more variety of songs, more and better guitar riffs, and I also think that Aerosmith has more versatility (Steven Tyler can play half a dozen instruments and Joe Perry can double as a lead singer when need be.)
