WHEN LOOKING IN HIS HISTORY, I ONLY SEE WHERE HE WAS BORN. I'D LOVE SOME VERIFICATION OF THE TIME HE SPENT/TIES WITH HOPEDALE, MA.....IT'S HARD TO TELL A YOUNGERS THIS WITHOUT BACKUP.

All I can find about Joe Perry's days growing up in Hopedale were that he grew up there and left Hopedale probably around the late 60's. None of the information I found gave a specific time line to the time he spent in Hopedale.
Perry is originally from Lawrence, Massachusetts and I also could not find any info on when he moved to Hopedale, although it would have most likely been in the mid to late 50's.
As far as ties, his father was an accountant and his mother a high school gym teacher and later an aerobics instructor in the town of Hopedale. She later retired to Arizona while Perry's father died in 1975.
