Question
respected sir,
i am very much interested in taking up the aeronautical engineering but i need a proper guidance. My question is what sort of career will we have after completing aeronautical engineering, where we find good job opportunities, what category jobs we have to take up, what will be the salary given to us.

Answer
Aeronautical engineers work for companies such as Boeing, Airbus, Lockheed-Martin, Grumman, and many others designing and analyzing aircraft.  Aerospace engineers also work on spacecraft in these very same companies....  Virtually all of the industrialized nations have some sort of aerospace programs and hence companies serving those programs...  In aerospace there are a number of specialty areas which fall into the broad categories of aerodynamics, structures, and controls...   Aerospace engineers are also considered specialized mechanical engineers (as a matter of fact many university programs are ME and ASE combined)...  It is my understanding that entry level ASE is somewhere between say 50,000 and 75,000 depending on the area.

Thank you for your question,
mj
