Subject: Aerial Distance

Question
How do I calculate aerial distance if I know the latitude and logitude of two locations?

Answer
The aerial distance is basically the same as ground distance.  The only variables would be time and speed or for long distances, a great circle mapper.  A quick and dirty way to find short distances with lat/long coordinates would be google maps (http://maps.google.com) or some other similar free mapping service.

If looking for great circle distance, try http://gc.kls2.com/  and near the bottom of the first page there is an entry box for lat/long.  I hope this answers your question.
