Question
Hello Sir,

I wanted to know if is there any difference between the Aerospace engineering course in the UK and the US? Why is it 3 years of study for a BEng in the UK and 4 years for a BSc in the US? Is it that you study more in the US and in more detail?

I am subject to start university by the end of this month in the university of Southampton or university of Bristol.

Thanking you

Answer
I'm really not qualified to answer this question (yet may be able to discover more by discussing with my colleagues who have studied abroad).  It is my understanding that an MS degree in Europe is more aligned with a BS in the US...  The reason for this I'm not sure, but it is the path apparently chosen by most (if not all) European countries.  Again, consider my disclaimer (I'm not really qualified)...  Tomorrow I will ask my colleague(s) and can maybe provide a follow-up...
