Question
Hi,
I am Sai. I want to know wether it will be better to try job after my bachelor degree in aerospace(Flight dynamis and controls) or continue with masters degree. Since the current scenario is with Economic crisis and job cuts, what do you suggest?
Further, with masters degree of 2 more years i can get more knowledge in field but this makes my career more narrow.
I am in a fix please help me out.

                                    Thanking you
                                     Sai

Answer
Well, I would say it depends on what options you have....  if you can find a job in today's market then taking it may be the best for you....  you can always make the decision to go to grad school if/when you loose that job, if things get worse....  Grad school costs money and is also competitive in terms of getting assistantship moneys....  In today's economic climate I would advise you to pursue both avenues to see what your options really are....

Grad school (MS) better prepares you in a specialty yet is not so focused that you become pigeon-holed into one area....  it also opens the door for more opportunities within an organization.

Hope this helps a bit,
mj
