Question
QUESTION: Hello sir, hope you remember me. I was not able to ask anymore follow ups in last question that I asked you earlier, hence I have to ask new one. I would like to know which universities will be good for me to do MS in CFD in order to work in USA or get placed through university itself. Also what is the pay scale of CFD engineer in USA (who has done MS) ? and which topic or area of application of CFD is more demanding and promising as career pont of view ?

ANSWER: There are numerous universities in the US that provide CFD training... Let me suggest that you google university programs that offer CFD studies...  the pay scale is somewhere around $80,000 I believe...
I my opinion the most promising area of CFD is currently design optimization...

Thanx,
mj

QUESTION: Thank you once again for your kind and quick reply, recently I heard that to get job in Aerospace industry in USA, person requires security clearance from federal gov. and hence it is difficult for international students to get job in the industry even after doing MS. Is it true ? it would be disastrous for me to be jobless after doing MS.

Answer
Only if you are working for an aerospace company doing business with the government (primarily military)....  Boeing for example has a great number of employees and builds aircraft for commercial purposes...  In CFD you don't have to work for an aerospace company...  the software is pervasive in all industry...  So the answer to your question is partially true, (much of the US aerospace industry is military/government related) but there are many many other opportunities...
