Question
Hi and thank you for taking my question.
I'm trying to find a rough estimate for the number of major airlines using in-seat entertainment systems. Alternatively, if you don't have a number for that (which is understandable given the number of airlines and the age of the plane etc.) could you estimate what percentage of airplanes are now being built with in-seat entertainment systems?

Thank you.

Answer
Don,

I do not know of a source for this data. In flight entertainment is standard on most international flights. LCCs such as JetBlue & Virgin America have made in flight entertainment systems a differentiator. If I had to take an educated guess I would say aprox 30%  of all airlines have personal entertainment systems.
