Question
Why does the ATR aircraft have a White anti-collision light and not a RED one?

Answer
Since I do not remember there being a requirement that ATR airplanes must use white anti collision lights not red, and my regulations are outdated I will refer you to www.risingup.com that will supply all the regulations regarding anti collsion lights. The infomation gets very technical and something I had to deal with decades back when I installed them. Loved the one about the light bothering the pilots. This requiement was tricky. Especially when it had to follow all the other requirements.
