Question
I have read several articles on hybrid airships, like the walrus project that DARPA was working on.  Would it be possible to launch and recover aircraft from a hybrid airship, and if so, what types of aircraft might work.  What kind of stall speed or lift would be required?

Answer
Hello Dwayne.
I'm not aware of any plans for the now cancelled Walrus airship project to carry aircraft, unlike the US airships of the early 1930s which were purpose built airborne aircraft carriers. If they could do it I'm sure it would be possible in a modern airship.
