Question Dear Wayne
Do you feel Electronic lock with password can enhance security in commercial airlines for luggage storage facility?.
Answer No - who would have the key or combination.
If there is a problem at an airport with stolen luggage all they really need to do is check the bag tags before they are allowed to leave the baggage pickup areas.
Also most of the crimes with luggage seems to be the baggage handlers for the airport or the airlines. By TSA rules luggage can only be locked with a TSA approved lock, which means (one key fits all) or the TSA will cut the lock open to check the contents.
