If you are literally talking about a runway- on which aircraft take off from and land upon- being made of marble flooring:

Marble flooring is hardly a suitable material of which to construct a runway. Runways must be made of materials with certain qualities and constructed to meet specific criteria, including weight bearing load capacity. Flooring is not designed to bear the kinds of loads engineered runway materials do. (Although marble could possibly be used in the aggregate, recycled concrete is cheaper.) Engineered pavements provide strength plus a bit of elasticity to prevent cracking under the stress of being punded by 100's of thousands of pounds. The desired surface must also not be slick in wet conditions to aid in controllability and braking effectivness.
